The 8th edition of the Palma Superyacht Show, the Mediterranean season opener, will feature over 80 yachts and just as many international exhibitors. Both yachting professionals and visitors looking to purchase or charter a yacht will be glad to know that diversity, the unequivocal strength of this annual gathering, will again set the tone for this year’s event.
While yachts for sale and/or charter will range from race-orientated sail yachts to motor yachts complete with gyms and helipads, exhibitors will include anything from destination specialists to luxury marinas, and every other service a discerning captain or owner could possibly need.
Loyal exhibitors Precision Marine and Port Adriano have quickly secured their stand for the 2020 edition, just as they’ve done every year since the show’s 2013 inception. Superyacht Furnishers Universal Nautic will not only be participating again this time but will also sponsor the show’s lanyards for the second year in a row. New to the event this year are Propspeed and Antigua Yachting Destination - they will be able to tell captains about foul-release coatings and Antigua’s dreamiest anchorages, respectively.
Visitors and locals keen to throw their taste buds a curve ball can rejoice as Michelin-starred chef Marc Fosh will host an exclusive pop-up bar/restaurant and lounge serving sparkling drinks, light meals and snacks inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. The lounge, aptly named Fosh Oasis and sponsored by Propspeed, will shine through its luxury feel and tranquillity and is the perfect spot to relax before your next showing / client meeting or to take a breather if you’ve been networking for hours on end. Added attraction is that acclaimed chef Marc Fosh will be show cooking and presenting his shiny new book bursting with mouth-watering recipes.
